Main Street Automotive, located at 676 Main Street in Clinton, MA, was started by Bob and Janet Baylis and has been in business since 1988. They specialize in Miata service and performance. Former RMC member and famed Miata mechanic Lester Seal is now part of the team at Main Street Automotive. During each of our autocross events, Renegade Miata Club collects donations for Loaves & Fishes, a local food pantry that serves residents of Ayer, Devens, Groton, Harvard, Littleton and Shirley. In 2014 the pantry provided food for 910 families, over one-third of whom had not previously sought their help. Among them were working poor with children who don’t get the benefit of school lunches during the summer months. The pantry is able to leverage a donation of $150 so that it provides nutritious meals for a struggling family for a week. A $50 donation helps them supply a week’s worth of meals for a veteran with PTSD or an elderly person trying to live on a small social security check. Thanks to our members’ generosity, we contributed $1,400 to Loaves & Fishes during our 2014 autocross season. We hope everyone will help us exceed that amount this year! Go to www.loavesfishespantry.org for more information. Helmets for autocross should be rated Snell 2005 or newer. The Club has loaner helmets at each autocross if you need one. Vans, SUVs and motorcycles are not allowed on the autocross course. The Autocross Committee reserves the right to deny participation to any car that is felt to be too loud for the event. The Committee’s decision is final and any fees paid will be reimbursed if a car is not allowed to participate. If you want to be added to our mailing list, please contact email@example.com
